It was raining when we got there. Usually I bring ponchos but forgot this year which means we had to pay the stupid tax. (The stupid tax is the money you waste buying a highly inflated item because you were too stupid to remember to pack it...). $40 later (stupid tax) we were heading in, much warmer and dryer. We had fast passes for rides that dictated our schedule today. Our first one was for Soarin' which is scheduled to be closed after today so we didn't want to miss it. On the way there was a photo opp for Baymax from Big Hero 6 and I insisted we stop because he is sooooooo cool!
The kids said he was squishy "in a really good way". I'm not sure what that meant but I was a little sorry I didn't go give him a squeeze! We got to the land a little early. And they were holding hands again :)
So we went on the boat ride of Living with the Land. Family selfie!
We know the ride by heart but they always have a few surprises in the greenhouse. This time it was the Christmas decorations including a Florida snowman
Finally got to Soarin'. Every ride had a 15 minute wait except this on was 3 HOURS! Thank you fast pass, it was only about 15 minutes for us.
I liked this picture but I had to sneak it in because the line walks back here. The attendant kept making fun of me, which I totally deserved...
I took a pic of the kids because Evan was making weird noises and I didn't know if he liked it and I couldn't actually turn to see him well. Ally looks more freaked out than he did!
For the record, Evan did NOT like it. So we went to Journey Into Imagination since it is very VERY tame.
Evan, on the other hand, scares away all the other kids because he can't stop running around like a possessed monkey...
Right next door is a new movie exhibit and we love Pixar. They had 3 shorts, Get a Horse (same as the one before Frozen), For the Birds (short before Monsters, Inc) and La Luna (short before Brave). Evan and I didn't remember La Luna and as the little boy was climbing a ladder up to the moon, Evan turned to me and said "Yeah, right. Like that could happen!" Apparently cartoons jumping through a screen is totally believable but climbing on the moon is where the line is drawn!
Next we went to see Turtle Talk with Crush over at the Living Seas. Since I'm writing this on my phone I can't embed videos but this link here was Evan asking Crush a question.

And I had to get my usual Bruce shot.
We haven't look around the aquarium in years so we never realized Evan had never seen any of it. We wandered around for a while.
Ally only wanted to see a diver so when this girl climbed in to clean the rock she was more excited than she was about the fish?!I tried sooooooooo hard to get a photo of this dolphin. Obviously I wasn't very successful....this was the best I got.
"Mine! Mine! Mine!"Normally we would keep going but we were all getting tired and were very excited to check into our hotel. After our first room was "uninhabitable" (housekeeping's words, not mine) we were relocated to "Jamaica" at the Caribbean Beach resort. Evan has the coolest fold down bed EVER.
They have an amazing zero entry pool with 2 water slides. Evan was too nervous to try the bigger one but he LOVED the smaller one. Ally loved it all!
