These Crocs Are Made for Walkin'!

Welcome to day who on earth knows....  I'm so tired I can't believe we have 2 more days!  Not sure what to do, we decided to head back to Epcot for the World Showcase.
But not until after a quick stop at the somewhat nearby Croc factory outlet.  Despite bringing a good pair of shoes, I now have blisters on my blisters and was limping terribly today.  I was worried that I would be able to walk and read online somewhere that crocs were the answer.  Ugly, but magnificent for sore feet.  They were dead right.  I was able to walk most of the day and my blisters are only minimally worse.  But I was so injured that I needed socks - so I actually found a way to make the ugliest shoes look even uglier!  (At least they are my favorite color - purple!)
We have been crushing pennies all week in the machines they have all over the park.  We picked one up on the way to the world showcase.
We also passed through Pixie Hollow, where the fairy topiaries are all hanging out.  We would have stopped longer to do the activity here, but it was DAMN HOT.  Walking in an oven kind of hot and no one wanted to stay in the sun for long!
Ally was so happy here though - she loves the fairies!
We passed by a closed test track (boo) but Evan was happy to climb in the car!
First stop:  Mexico.  We always go this way first.  Ally was happy to get in, but Evan was scared to death to go on the ride ("I'm gonna HATE this one!").
This monument looks like our pool!
I told Evan it was kind of a "small world" mixed in with a few creepy things from the pirates.  Don't you think the skeletons on the top of the entrance make the crossover?!
Evan did actually get off the boat saying what a great ride he had!  A winner on the first try!!!  And from the following picture it looks like he was super happy!
Don't be fooled....  He was beat  Even Ally, who is my rock, was starting to crumble and it was early in the day!  Since the whole day was going to just be the countries, we made sure to get all the stuff they now have for the little ones.  When I was little, I hated Epcot because it was so BORING!  But Disney has really tried to get the kids involved too.  They have a person stationed at each country with a passport stamp and if you buy a passport for just $10 (yeah, I know....) they will stamp it and write a message for you.  They will also hand out something that can be colored and they will stamp those if you don't want to shell out the money.  We had tired cranky kids, so we did both!
Next:  Norway.  They have the only other ride - the Malestrom.  It is a boat ride that goes forward down a little hill and backwards down another.  Evan has proven to be terrified of rides but I thought this would be exciting enough but still tame that he should try it.  It took a bribe (he is more than happy to sit them all out) but we got him on it.  This is my nervous little boy before the ride:
And he actually LIKED it!  It seemed to turn his attitude around too.  Not everything was out to get him!  Did I mention it was hot?  Ally and I got parasols in China to at least make some shade.
After lunch in America (for some reason we always eat there) we went to Italy to pick up Ally's Kim Possible mission cell phone.  This was the coolest thing we did all day.  They sent us to Germany and she had to keep finding specific locations in Germany.
When she got there, she would hit a button and it would making something cool happen.  She made this train run (and it came by with a code)
 this cuckoo clock chime
some beer steins sing, and then outside her last mission made these guys come out and move.
By far the coolest thing in Epcot.  We would have done another country but the battery died!  Next we had kinda by passed Italy so we stopped at the Kidcot and got stamps while Evan flirted with the really pretty girl.....
And back to the US.  I love this spot for the show.  Not because the show is excellent (it's ok) but because it is inside, sitting down, in the air conditioning!  Usually we need it at that point.  And I also knew Evan would fall asleep - my American dream granted!
After I carried Evan to the stroller, he totally stayed out and we moved on.  From here, we didn't stop much - tired, hot and getting ready to go.  By France we stood in the longest wait ever for Belle and the Beast (Ally's favorite).  Belle talked to her about books and Ally talked to her like she was meeting a rock star.  She knows it is just a person in a costume, but in that moment she is just smitten!
Next we just decided to skip ahead to the United Kingdom.  Evan woke up here (and all this took about an hour and a half so it was a good nap) just in time to meet Pooh and Tigger.  Evan RAN to Pooh and jumped in his arms!  Poor Pooh, I thought he was going DOWN.
Ally has always been my Tigger - she jumps when she is excited.  Evan has it too I guess.  The two of them stood there jumping with Tigger for like 3 minutes!  I love this photo - they are both so happy here.
 Then the sky turned omnious.
We made it to Canada before the sky totally opened up.  After about 20 minutes in the gift shop it slowed down enough to make a break for the entrance.  We stopped at the Character spot on the way for these:
 Yay!  A family shot!
Evan had her sign his book but would not pose with a girl!
Evan's favorite - he almost took Donald down again....
And giant Goofy who had to come low to hug them.
It was only sprinkling when we left the characters
 Just enough for a rainbow!!!!
Tomorrow:  Hollywood Studios!
